Monopaulize Challenge – Day 3

Monopaulize Challenge: Day 3

Monopaulize Challenge - Day Three

Here’s to keeping myself accountable on this challenge: Day 3!

What Time Did I Get Up

I got up at 8:45 am this morning. I woke up feeling really refreshed but knew I would have a challenging time today to complete my goals, since I would be out for a good portion of the day.

What Did I Accomplish Today

Yesterday, the goal I had set out for myself were:

1) Finish writing up the remaining 800 – 1,000 words of the main article.

2) Start doing some kW research on next articles I want to write and plan for them. This will ideally be about 10 articles.

Finish writing the remaining portion of the main article? Check!

Do some kW research on secondary articles? Check…..or maybe not?

I did technically reach both of these goals today….although just barely. However, I’m not sure if the quality of the work I did today meets my expectations….so I might have to get back into these to do a quality check sometime soon.

Resources Committed

I spent about 1 hour in the morning reading and gathering some information I needed to finish up my main article. I spent another hour in the evening finishing up the write up. For kW research, I spent another hour to go through kWs in my niche and try to determine which ones I should write articles for.

What I Learned

I am still quite tired..perhaps because of waking up too early the last two days. I also learnt that kW research might still be a little blurry to me in terms of finding secondary kWs. In view of this, I’ll have to set a goal for tomorrow to educate myself on the topic.

As always, I continue to learn how to streamline my process of writing a product review such that it wouldn’t take too much time.

What Was Challenging

I realize that it is still quite challenging to write product review articles especially since most of the items are similar in nature. Say for example, I was writing product reviews for……yoga mats; most of the products have similar features so I often doubt myself whether I’m providing value in these articles or if they sound the same to the reader. I guess I’ll have to read over it when I have a clearer, non-fatigued mind!

I also find it somewhat challenging to be working on a holiday with family around……hmm not exactly sure if there’s a better way to approach this. I guess I’ll be starting a to-do list which will list out items that I want to learn from other online entrepreneurs. Feel free to share any ideas you may have if you are reading this!

Goals for Tomorrow

Tomorrow is July 4th, I’ll be aiming for the following goals:

1) Educate myself about how to select good secondary kWs.

2) Do a cross check based on what I’ve learnt in item #1 with the list that I completed today.

3) Come up with a list of ideas for the second niche site and see how competitive these are.

All for now and happy 4th!
